A&M – BUD
DARTS
Rules
of League Play
1.
Locations that use A&M Amusement for 100% of their
Coin-Operated Amusement equipment and have a Galaxy II dart machine are
eligible to sponsor teams in the A&M – Bud Dart League.
2.
The game played is determined by your league format,
designated before the first night of league play, and will remain the same
throughout the season.
3.
Players may use their own darts, as long as they are
unaltered factory issued darts and tips, and do not exceed eight (8) inches in
length, and do not exceed eighteen (18) grams in weight. Otherwise, bar darts
will be supplied by each location operating a game.
4.
A dart that sticks, but does not score, may NOT be manually scored.
5.
All Galaxy games should have foul lines positioned
eight feet from the line on the Galaxy machine. Players throw from behind the
foul line. Players will be allowed to
lean across the foul line with their trail foot, so long as their trail foot does
not touch the floor before the dart scores.
6.
The dart machine is ALWAYS RIGHT. If the machine is not operating correctly, both team
captains will decide whether to play, call a repairman, or make up the game.
7.
Teams will consist of a number of players determined by
the league format. Each team’s player information will be accessible through
the league menu on the Galaxy II dart game.
8.
In the event of absent team players, a sub may be
selected from one of the names on the sub screen. If the league being played in
does not support handicapping, the substitute player used must be of equal or
lesser skill level than the person they are playing in the place of. To enter a
sub, press the Up or Down button
until the arrow points to the player not present and press ENTER. The substitute
player menu will then appear on the screen. Press select until the arrow points
to the name of the player who is substituting. If that player’s name is not on
the screen, choose NEW SUBSTITUTE, and press ENTER. A new screen will appear. Input the player’s First AND
Last names into the screen and press Enter. If the league being
played is a handicapped league, use the up or down buttons to scroll through to
the new players handicap value on the screen. Input the player’s MPR and / or
PPD. If the player’s MPR or PPD is in question, there are two options. First,
consult with the opposing team captain and put the agreed upon values into the
dart game. If an agreement cannot be reached, immediately contact the league
director for a proper handicap value.
9.
GAMES
MAY ALSO BE PLAYED WITH A MISSING PLAYER. Pressing PLAYER CHANGE for the missing player’s
